On February 4th, members of our team, Finn Olson, Dustin Cowell, and Hannah Webber traveled to the capital of Wisconsin to speak with members of the senate. First is working towards making a bill to increase First government funding to 4.5 million biannually. They want to use this funding to increase the range of students able to join First activities. First wants to increase the grade levels First is available to. Our current grade levels are from 6-12. First will increase this range to k-12. First also wants to reach out to more schools with their activity options. If this bill is passed more students will be able to have access to FIRST STEM programs.
