On February 5th, a few members of our team headed down to the Capitol Building for Advocacy Day in Madison, WI. We aimed to reduce the age limit for the DPI Robotics League Participation Grant to include grades K-5 for the FLL Leagues. We had the opportunity to join up with other FIRST Robotics teams to speak with several legislators, including Senator Julian Bradley, who played a major role in keeping this grant in the bill last year. Senator Bradley also gave us an exclusive experience around the Capitol, including the Senate Parlor, and took us for pictures in the Senate Chambers.
