Steven was on the team from 2012-2015, acting as Vice President.

He graduated Iowa State University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He is currently performing space-based electronics systems engineering tasks at General Dynamics.

When asked about Laser Robotics he said, “I made quite a few friends in college that were part of FRC/FTC, had a leg up on programming and design procedures”. His favorite memories were, “Not James! Hiding stuff in the ceiling, building the t-shirt cannon, and accidentally wiping a computer with the control software on it. Competitions were always a blast (especially holed up in the Ramada with the crumbling ceiling)”.
